Washington DC LGBT RPCV Group Back on Track

The Washington, DC LGBT RPCV group is working to revive the local chapter after several years of dormancy. A June Pride event was held in collaboration with the RPCVs of Washington group at Nellie's, a local gay sports bar in the U Street neighborhood. This summer a survey was sent to the listserv to gauge people's interest in reviving the group. Survey results indicated that people were interested in having the group plan a variety of social activities on a regular basis. Based on the results of the survey, a successful brunch was held on November 8th at the Banana Cafe, a local restaurant in the Eastern Market neighborhood.
